Hey there Florida couples! Are you engaged and starting the process of looking for your South Florida wedding venue? Look no further! As a gal who grew up in Delray Beach, I always wanted to get married in South Florida but I fell in love with a Virginia boy so I ended up tying the knot in Charlottesville. Since then, A bunch of my friends have gotten engaged and gone through the process of looking for a wedding venue in the Florida area. I have researched high and low for beautiful wedding venues and here are my favorites that made my list of best places to get married in Florida.
Flagler Museum
I am absolutely obsessed with this space. Located in Palm Beach, you have plenty of options for beautiful hotels and activities for guests. You do have to become a member of this establishment to be married here so start the planning early!
Vizcaya
Vizcaya may be my all time favorite venue in the United States. It has a water view, amazing architecture and so many stunning places for portraits. This is the perfect place for high end Miami weddings. Here is an engagement I did here!
Sundy House
Sundy House is super sentimental to me because it is located in my hometown of Delray Beach Florida! This is a smaller venue but you can also do beach portraits or Delray Oaks portraits the day of! Here is a Sundy House wedding that I adored photographing.
Boca Beach Club
Boca Beach Club weddings make all my pink dreams come true. The property has amazing indoor and outdoor options and guests can stay on site in rooms or villas! The brunch is amazing and it has an all inclusive feel to be sure!
Villa Woodbine
Villa Woodbine is tucked away in the heart of South Florida. Their lawn is the perfect space to hold an outdoor ceremony and their atrium is a great space for smaller weddings
The Addison
The Addison is an ideal wedding venue located in Boca Raton, Florida. The patio is a lovely area for outdoor weddings and the neutral banquet area has great light for reception images.
The Spanish Monastery
The Spanish Monastery might be one of my favorite options. It has an old charm that takes to you another world. Portraits here are super romantic and if you’re a cat lover, you may see one or two on property which makes me giggle seeing as Pet Detective was filmed here!
Jupiter Lighthouse
Jupiter Lighthouse has one amazing ceremony spot if you’re a tree lover. The issue here is no rain plan! Definitely need to think ahead of the crazy Florida weather when booking this spot!
Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa
If you’re looking for a one stop shop, this is it. Guests can walk right downstairs to your ceremony either on the beach or tucked away in a shaded grove overlooking the ocean. Reception space is covered but has an outdoor, open air feel!
Comber Hall
I adore the front of Comber Hall. I will say, it is very close to a main road and is mostly one large building. The reception space is indoors and lovely and has some European vibes for sure.
The Biltmore
If you have dreams of a hotel wedding in South Florida, look no further. These amazing vignettes are elegant, luxurious and romantic. If you want classic Florida charm, the Biltmore is your place.
Bethesda by the Sea
This is probably my favorite church in Florida. Fun fact: Donald Trump got married here! Bethesda by the Sea weddings are opulent and wonderful. They have strict photography policies so be sure to know the rules before deciding on this venue! Here is a stunning wedding I photographed there!
The Colony
The Colony Hotel is a long standing character in the Palm Beach community. If you want a Florida destination wedding that will wow guests and be a ton of fun, this is your venue. The palm wall paper and the pink decor really remind you of old Florida. It’s only a walk away from the beach! Here is an editorial I photographed at the venue!
Bonnett House

Bonnett House is so cute with a lot of charm and character. Couples must love lush greenery and yellow backdrops for this venue to really shine.
Bella Collina

Bella Collina made the list even though it’s not TECHNICALLY South. Although this wedding venue is located in Orlando, you really feel like you’re having a Tuscany wedding!
