Megan and Zach were the first clients to book me for 2024! They’re getting married at my home away from home, Stone Tower Winery, and hired my bestie Angelica Co Weddings! We had a perfect fall day in Old Town Alexandria and took some engagement photos at the historic Carlyle House. Champagne was popped and […]

Christian decided to propose to Grace on the cobblestone streets of Alexandria. He planned to surprise her with a beautiful ring AND both their families hiding in the wings! Once she the shock wore off from saying ‘yes’ her jaw dropped yet again as their parents ran towards them out of nowhere! The surprised weren’t […]

So Brittany & Andrew’s “confession was met with laughter and heaps of inside jokes.

I must confess, I am a sucker for bloggers. In my business, I have recently moved away from lifestyle photography to focus more on weddings, anniversaries and engagements. While capturing couples is truly my passion, I have a soft spot for female entrepreneurs! At one point, I myself wrote for local area magazines and ran a fashion blog, so when Stephanie contacted me to do a shoot for her blog + online store, I couldn’t say no!

I met Himanshu and Shuchi on a sunny Saturday afternoon at the Georgetown waterfront. After they complimented me on my camera, we got to talking and I handed them my business card thinking nothing of it. A week later, Himanshu emailed me saying that he was planning on proposing the very next week after we had met! How fortuitous!

With all this rain we have been having, Stephanie & Nick were honestly blessed to have had a stunning, sunny outdoor ceremony! The two had an intimate wedding in Alexandria and were surrounded by family and friends as they said “I Do” at Cedar Knoll Inn. This was my first time shooting at this location and I can’t wait to return!
