This is probably one of my favorite sessions of the year so sorry for the oversharing! Daniel is actually technically my nephew (although he is our age). He and Jill got engaged this past year and started planning their chic DC wedding. Like all 2020 couples, COVID reared its ugly head and threw their plans […]

What could be a better addition to an engagement shoot than a new puppy!? Vince got Nicole this darling pupper as a gift; he gave Nicole the collar first and she was utterly confused until she saw Zeppelin! These two actually live in Chicago but traveled back home to Maryland for a friend’s wedding. While […]

I swear it, Alex and Alyse have the BEST LUCK with photos! We walked to their favorite little pier in Baltimore only to find a historic boat show passing through! The rain held out for us as we heard cannons firing off in the distance! We ended our session at their favorite Ice Cream store, Baltimore Licks, where we got perfect parking and a lot of treats!

It’s obvious to see how easily Bridgette and Doug fit together. Doug is an extremely thoughtful and kind soul which is mirrored only by Bridgette’s sweetness and loving nature. What made this wedding special was the bond these newlyweds shared. These two read personal letters during their first look and it was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever seen. Their intimate ceremony in the all white church concluded with a family only send off and some alone time for just the two of them.

It’s weird to say that I don’t know if I have ever photographed two people so in love. Every single photograph of these two during candid moments was of them smiling and giggling to each other. When you spend even five minutes around Melissa and Calvin, you just know that they relax one another. They both feel like a deep breath of air to their counterparts.

Katie & Taylor’s wedding touched my heart. I’ve known the Quinn family for over a decade so it’s surreal to watch a childhood pal walk down the aisle to marry the love of her life. Good food, great music & a sword exit all added up to one incredible wedding. Katie was the most laid back bride I have ever had. She and Taylor made their planning easy by getting married at their Alma Mater, The Naval Academy, and had their reception at Brittland Manor, almost exactly on the anniversary of her sister Colleen’s wedding that took place at the exact same location! The only thing Katie truly wanted was a big pizza party where everyone had a blast!

It is quite scary how long I’ve known the Quinn family. I’ve known Katie, Colleen and Meghan through swimming ever since I can remember. It is crazy to me that time has flown by such that I will be photographing Katie’s wedding this May! Katie and Taylor met at the Naval Academy and beat the odds of having a long distance relationship. They were stationed in different states but will be finally moving to San Francisco together as husband and wife!

I know what you’re thinking.. ‘These are the raddest engagement photos ever.’ Given my long history with this bride, I knew her engagement photos would be less than typical and super creative/fun. Jen & Perry wanted photos out of the ordinary ‘nuzzling in a park’. A costume engagement just fits them so perfectly.
