Never has there ever been a goofier groom than Rob. I think I laughed the entire 2 hour session with these two. Rob’s sense of humor made this engagement session a breeze because he always made Renee smile from ear to ear! We woke up super early to walk around Jefferson and then headed to Lincoln. Christina and Shaun messaged me about snapping their engagement photos this summer. The two actually live in Chicago (where they got engaged) but their love story began in DC. They had their first date at Cylde’s in the district and their love story grew, eventually leading them to their life together in Illinois. Shaun proposed the day before her birthday over dinner before meeting a bunch of their close friends to celebrate.

Is it October yet?! Aidan and Greg are my first clients to book me less than 4 months before wedding day! It’s actually very fitting with their personalities. These two value love and none of the pomp and circumstance that surrounds wedding day. They are having a small ceremony at the Josephine Butler Center which they want to feel more like a casual party & cocktail hour with friends. This may be the first time I will not be documenting getting ready or detail shots on wedding day!
