I have had so many people ask me about this proposal! It was shared on Instagram a few times and commenters have thought it was fake which gave me and the bride to be a huge laugh. This adorable love story has finally been shared on Wedding Chicks so I am able to share it on my personal blog!

This month, I had the pleasure of capturing Kunal Patel’s surprise proposal! He contacted me a week in advance to ask me to play spy while he proposed to his long time girlfriend Punam. As it turns out, they’re both from my home state of Florida! In fact, Punam is from the same county as me! Capturing surprise proposals is my favorite thing to do as a wedding photographer and I was honored that Kunal reached out to me.

Oh man do I have a soft spot for this couple! Not only do I appreciate a man who plans to have a photographer capture the most important question of his life but I also have a tendency to adore sarcasm. Given those two facts, Raumil was the perfect client. This couple was a dream to photograph and I was able to do so alongside my dear photographer friend Marirosa! Best. Day. Ever.

This was by far the best photography day I have had. A few weeks back, Mathew contacted me to capture the most romantic moment of his life. He planned to propose to Mana on the Supreme Court Steps- where they met. I was already giddy from his romantic idea that I cleared my schedule so I could capture this moment of sheer bliss.
